Summer at Tiffany

Since my reading for classes was a little light earlier this month, I decided to take advantage of it and read something for pure enjoyment.
A while ago, I picked up Summer at Tiffany by Marjorie Hart. I couldn't resist the pretty cover. Plus, I am really into memoirs and biographies lately.
Summer at Tiffany is the story a young woman (Marjorie Hart) and the best summer of her life. In the summer of 1945, she and her best friend for college decided to move to New York for the summer and get a job. They end up working at Tiffany (yeah, amazing right?). This was such a delightful read. I would definitely recommend it.
I do give a word of caution though. While you read this, you will wish that you were born fifty years earlier, when you could wear white gloves, and when you could get lunch for less than $1.00. Seriously.
Do yourself a favour, and read this one.
